23 June 2006...Recently, we received an e-mail that identifies the soldier who is crossing the bridge right behind the soldier who was killed by mortar-shell fragments. His name is: STEPHEN F.TOBIA, of Fox Company (Regiment not stated). The nephew of Mr. Tobia wrote us to tell us that his uncle had recently passed away and that he was the soldier identified in the George Silk photo of the Roer footbridge.
